Sensory Overload Simulator is an app design idea that the young people from Foroige Galway City Youth Cafe Techspace Club hope to bring to reality this year. This short film was created by the young people as a short information piece on Sensory Overload Simulator. Should the app be created it would give any person the ability to take a picture or video of a situation and simulate what could potentially cause sensory difficulties for a person on the Autistic Spectrum or a young person with Sensory Difficulties.

Ciara Beth is a creative and passionate youth advocate for young people with Autism. Speaking at the recent Inver Think Tank Awards in Galway she educated peers and families on what it feels like to have sensory meltdowns. She also plays the Ukulele and sings!

Disen Coughlan
Disen is a Techspace veteran at the Galway City Youth Cafe having been involved in all things Techspace from the beginning. Another shining example of youth advocacy he volunteers with local Autism Organisation Galway Autism Partnership helping younger children on the Spectrum to enjoy social clubs. He is especially good with fixing up computers and creating 3d digital images.
Ronan McKillieny
Ronan McKilleany is a great dancer and always gets involved. He collected two awards with Techspace so far and has a keen eye for detail. Ronan is especially talented in cooking, camera work and roadblox.
Jack Madden
Jack is a great piano player. He has provided live background music for film shoots and edits. He has a great sense of humour and the ability to work well in any team. Jacks talents have also been transferred over to camera operator and lighting, but he has the ability to master anything he puts his hand to!

Lorchan Lowry
Lorchan inspired the Sensory Overload Simulation project. He has the ability to inspire any group to posivitly and creatively acheive their goals. He is a great friend and youth advocate to lesser verbal peers, bring out the best in them through comedy sketches and jokes. Lorchan has organised comedy based nights in the Galway City Youth Cafe and recently completed a FilMusic club animation.
